A busy summer for pinball.  Here are the upcoming pinball events through
September (and Pinholics moved to October).  A regional calendar that shows
all events until end of the year can be found here, it is interactive with

Pinholics Anonymous

-          Pinabler Tour <http://pinholicsanonymous.com/home/pinabler-tour/>
for July/August has begun at Black Cat, CrabTowne, Lyman’s Tavern, Red Zone,
Volleyball House, and VÜK

-          Pinholics Anonymous Periodic Meeting
<http://pinholicsanonymous.com/home/periodic-meeting/>  (the original
tournament) is scheduled for October 28th (moved from 9/30 due to York) –
also a Halloween costume party with prizes for best costumes

 

Tournaments/Shows

-          July 16:  Split Flipper Tournament on Sunday July 16th at Black
Cat.  Doors open at 1pm, starts at 2pm, $10 / person, bring a partner or
come alone and get paired with someone (email pinball at kevinsplanet.com if
you have questions).  No WPPRs for this tourney, just a fun time.  Use side
door to the right of main entrance to enter since we’ll have Black Cat to
ourselves until main opening around 7pm.

-          July 22:  VÜK July Knockout Extravaganza

VÜK.  Starts at 1pm, $10 entry, 4 strike format

-          July 27-30:  Pinburgh / ReplayFX <http://replayfx.org/> , July
27th through 30th in Pittsburgh.  Biggest event and tournament of the
year!!!

-          August 5:  *** Brand New Monthly *** Lyman
<https://www.facebook.com/jackalopehunt/> ’s Monthly Jackalope Hunt
tournament, at Lyman’s Tavern in DC, first one on August 5th.  10 attempts,
best 5 games, with playoffs for top 8 (or 16), $20 entry.  Format may vary
month to month.

-          August 19 or 26:  Crabtowne Summer Slam, either August 19th or
26th (TBD).  More details will be available once identified.

-          August 19 or 26:  Lyman’s Tavern tournament hosted by Douglas
Malcolm, either August 19th or 26th (TBD).  More details will be available
once identified.

-          September 9:  Pinabler Tour

September 9th at Lyman’s Tavern (November’s will be at CrabTowne or
Volleyball House)

-          September 13:  FSPA VBH Preseason Tournament

Fall seasons start in September!

-          FSPA post-season party, pending completion of season, likely late
August or early September.

July 13, played at Lyman’s Tavern (Thursday @ 8:30, Monday @ 2:00) and Black
Cat (Sundays @ 7:30)

-          CrabTowne Summer league
