Hi!

Just a quick update on this week's festivities!

A week ago, you should've received email from TourneyGuru with your signup information for the site.  If you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to login (USING THE DEVICE YOU PLAN TO USE AT THE TOURNAMENT, like your phone or tablet -- note that WiFi is probably NOT available on-site, you'll have to use cellular data) and make sure that everything is working for you.  For obvious reasons, technical support will be limited once we're in Pittsburgh. 

TourneyGuru's database has been updated with all the correct bank lineups, and Julie Schober and Dave Hubbard have been especially active for the past few days fleshing out missing and incorrect strategies, so give them a shout-out when you see them.  Changes are still ongoing, and will be pretty much right up 'til tournament time, but check out the game list, and if you see anything missing or wrong that you can help with, please send details to <guru at tourneyguru.org>.

Also: New this year is the ability for you to add machines to banks, so if you show up at a bank and find that there was a last minute change and game X is out and game Y is in, go to Browse Machines > select game Y > select "Add machine to bank" at the bottom of the page.  Also, machines in banks allow comments, so take a moment to share the tilt sensitivity of games you play, and any other important idiosyncrasies you find, like scoop kickouts that keep going SDTM.

Miscellany: it is likely that FSPA will annex a table in the lounge area, so come on by to celebrate or commiserate with friends after each round.  If you've got FSPA shirts, wear 'em!  :)

For dinner on Thursday and Friday (after the third round of competition each day), we will NOT be forming huge groups, since that takes too long and time is limited.  Gathering folks for Saturday night dinner (after finals) is more likely, since there's no time pressure at that point.  Here's the tentative dinner destinations each day if you'd like to join... these are all an easy walk from the convention center:

Wednesday: Bakersfield
Thursday: Bistro (on) Penn (formerly known as Sharp Edge)
Friday: Sienna Mercado
Saturday: Proper Brick Oven and Taproom
