[FSPA] Monday Night League: call for players

Still working to find a place. Looked at a few places today, one seemed like it will work, but there is not parking for the approx 30 people/cars that would attend a league night. Sad because it was already configured correctly and it was a rare place that was zoned correctly, and could have moved in in a couple weeks. One of the other places will work, but not sure if it is a place where one would want to be playing pinball because it looks small, may feel uncomfortable, but the price was right. Inquiring about another place tomorrow and will keep trying. -Roland

Subject: [FSPA] Monday Night League: call for players

Hi folks...

It seemed like enough people were up for keeping Monday Night League alive at Red Zone, so let's give this a shot. The league formerly known as Mighty Mike's will have its Fall season as planned, but temporarily playing at Red Zone Grill in Fairfax, VA. We'll play Monday nights starting at 8 PM. Week 0, the unofficial/unscored welcome week, is just days away, on Monday, Sept 11. Official league play starts the following Monday, Sept 18, with a break on Thanksgiving week, and finals on Monday, Dec 4. Of course, Thursday night RZG players (and VÜKers and VBHers) are welcome to join the Monday league too... more leagues = more pinball = more giveaway game chances = more WPPRs = more fun! :)

It is still our intention to have a league location back in the vicinity of Mighty Mike's, and we'll keep y'all informed of any progress in that regard.

Thanks! And sorry for the inconvenience, but of course this is pretty much out of our control, we just try to roll with it...
