Steve,
there is a small cut in the playfield, that the ramp section needs to
be in, then the flap does the transition,

Make sure you loosen everything else and install the ramp section in
to the cutout, its a tight fit.

Otherwise the outside edge of the ramp flap on where the ramp is not
in the cutout remains too high and will start bending as the ball is
deflected about by it.
