[FSPA] Tuesday Night KNOCKOUT

Starting Tomorrow:  

We’re going to have a Handicapped Knockout tournament on Tuesdays during the off-season. 
(Hey, we are also planning Fairfax Pinball Open for October 5-7, Columbus Day weekend, so Save the Date!).  

TUESDAY NIGHT KNOCKOUTS— No WPPR available.   


Format, subject to revision:  

This will be 2 Strikes for A Division players and additional strike for each division.   
Players from other leagues FSPA can play their most recent division PLUS one.  (This is fair).   Must not have played CarPool either season.  

What’s the handicap?   D Division players will have 5 strikes, and the lucky ones won’t even have to face A division players.  

Random Draw for opponents, from a hat, any time there are at least 4 ready to play.   First draw picks game or order.  Can’t pick same game twice in a row.   

I think we can start at 7:30 and still keep “Starting time” open until at least 8:00.  Folks who are late still have to play same number of rounds.  

Finals will be top 4 remaining, or less than 4 if that happens.   If we get to 4 and somebody has 1 strike while others have 2, then they can be knocked down to last place by any 1 player in the game.   



There are only 3 Tuesdays, and then we are back to Week Zero on the 4th Tuesdays.   Then the folks who run leagues here can keep it running another week depending on demand.  That seems to be the trend— to format something for week zero.    

Sorry about the short notice.   This has been jumping around in my head for a while but I had to write it up.
