[FSPA] Pinburgh Bank!

That would be an easy way for every league to get their name on a bank.

I'm liking the discussion so far and am getting some really interesting ideas.

My main goal for the group is to have a very cohesive theme. Picking a random game from each location wouldn't necessarily have a lot of that.

Another idea that I have is to pick a game the plays off of the name of each location. In this vein, we could pick Baywatch for VUK (because it has a Vertical Up Kicker,) Volley for Volleyball House (even though it's a badminton game,) Taxi for Carpool, and Silverball Mania for Silverball Sanctum (could also go with Shadow here.)

My main goal is to have a well playing group that is also identifiable to us as an FSPA group. 4 years ago, we had for our custom group Tron (I think we had picked Baywatch, but it had to be swapped out before the tournament,) Dragon, TX-Sector, and Time Fantasy. It was fun to make a group like that, but we kinda made a group that was pro-luck and anti-skill.

The whole idea for the VBH group was that the VBH league has been running now for 19 years. The grouping would be a good way to advertise our 20th year starting in the fall.

Keep the ideas coming!

Joe K.

Mind you, this $50 is only for the Bank name. Nothing more.

Ok, now the bank MUST be named FSPA: Max Exposure, with Baywatch in the bank, and Max's face over Pamela Anderson instead of Frasca. I will hear of nothing else!

Well, for max exposure, it has to include FSPA somewhere on it I think. No one outside of us knows what VBH is. Lots of people know what the FSPA is. I don't have a problem giving the association that exposure while highlighting one particular location.

Whoa... I'm completely respectful of the fact that he paid for it and he has the final say but, as you point out, it's not an association thing which is exactly my point.

You should have paid for it then if you want to control how it's used or named... sheesh. Joe paid for this out of his own money, he could have named it and picked the machines without consulting anyone. I could see your point if the association paid for it out of the association coffers, but this is all Joe.

I like this.... The thread kind of makes it feel like VBH is all that FSPA is.... As a player at another location I would rather see if not get the FSPA name at all if it's just going to be a VBH thing.

If this is a "FSPA" bank, how about one game from each location? VBH can have first pick.
