 Yes, it was fixed a week after .84 was released.. as it was found during the launch parties.  0.95 has since been released as well.
The problem is instant-info - as noted in the release notes.  
Old bug... but scot and others have been gunshy due to the flakiness of the USB update on latest spike games which can brick the game's SD card load.

That's actually either flipper.  I did it last night at Carpool by holding in the right flipper to get instant info.  I got instant reboot.

Deadpool and Genesis are currently not eligible for preplays.  Deadpool has a bug that if you hold the left flipper for 15 seconds that the game will reset.  Deadpool will be back in once the next code update is installed.  Fingers crossed for league tonight.
Genesis currently has a weak left flipper.  Scott is hopeful that it will be back in business by the start of league.
