[FSPA] Buying tickets for Pinburgh - Urgent

My only issue with land-rush is that people can buy up to 5(!) tickets at a
time, so as word continues to get out about how to coordinate buying blocks
with friends, you really only have 200 tickets, not 1000. The reasoning
given at the time was to allow families wanting to compete together to be
in an "all or none" situation. Father-and-son teams, groups traveling from
far away, etc. It was declared "undesirable" to have only one part of a
team be able to get in, some going as far as to say they would rather not
go at all in that situation. Naturally, that evolved into the abuse case
we have now of groups of 5 people all trying to get in, then dumping any
extra blocked tickets to the waitlist after 15 minutes.

I'm not really sure how I feel about the land-rush vs. lottery system. I
would want to know some sort of projection for how many express interest in
the lottery period. Like if 3000 people express interest in say, a 24-hour
lottery signup period, that's a low chance for any one person to get in,
overall. There's something to be said about having the dedication to be
there at the stroke of 12 and either win the click-off or get high on the
waitlist though. Last time this came up I was in favor of a lottery, but
now I'm not so sure.

The only thing I can say for sure is that I *hate* the 5-player group
signup abuse that is happening. Anyone wanting to compete should have to
sign up individually, so that everyone has an equal chance. Right now,
each player in a 5-player cabal has 5 chances to be part of a lucky click,
and that's hugely unfair to individuals.
