[FSPA] MAGfest pinball tourament is back - Jan 6 to 8, 2022

We had a temporary cancellation due to some concerns but we've worked through these items and can now confirm the tournament is on.  Here are details from the Facebook event in cases where people don't use Facebook.  Pre-registration for MAGfest badges go on sale today at 3pm ET (10/5/2021).  You can pre-register for the pinball tournament now by sending email to magfest at kevinsplanet.com<mailto:magfest at kevinsplanet.com> with your name and IFPA #.

If you haven't been to MAGfest before, it is a crazy show, and the pinball tournament will satisfy your addiction to pinball (at least for 3 days). FREE tournament, unlimited entries.

The pinball tournament lives on after addressing the issues that resulted in the temporary cancellation. We have the games, volunteers, TDs and logistics worked out.
MAGfest is a 24/7 show over 4 days with music, gaming, consoles, cosplay, arcade and of course pinball.

Key notes:
- Entry is $110 for all 4 days (increases to $125 on January 1st)

Tournament Details:
- FREE unlimited entries in a best game format, 10 game bank, best 5 games make your overall ticket.
- Top 24 players make playoffs (or more if we exceed 240 players)
- Top 8 players not in finals that are ranked above 5000 in IFPA qualify for B finals, double elimination format
- Winners receive prizes as well as MDollars good for redemption at the market place
- No cash payouts (and no entry fees)
- Pre-register for the tournament to receive your player # and PIN prior to tournament start and you won't have to register at the desk, just start playing.
