This makes me incredibly sad.  Jonathan was a great guy and as Joe said, way too young.  I'll never forget pinch hitting for him on Walking Dead in that last FSPA PPL challenge at PAPA HQ.  I'm sure the video is still out there.  Makes me want to go back and watch him play.  I bet if someone could find the link, his family would appreciate it too.

RIP Jonathan.

I am completely dismayed to have to pass on this terrible news about one of our longtime friends.  NOVA players in particular will know Jonathan, who has been playing with us for around 10 years, including a featured (and victorious!) role in one of the famous FSPA vs PPL Battles Royale.  He always had a smile and a laugh, wonderfully good hearted guy... and way, WAY too young to pass away.  :(  Such a terrible loss.

RIP, Jonathan.


Due to covid, his pinball league friends may not have known that Jonathan had brain cancer, glioblastoma to be exact, one of the most aggressive cancers there is.  He fought hard, enjoyed life, and died April 30.  Me and my husband have been in VA with him over the past 16 months since diagnosis and surgery, helping in whatever way we can.

We are having a memorial service for Jonathan on this Saturday at 11 am at Stafford County Community Church, 1813 Mountain View Rd, Stafford, VA 22554.  The service is INFORMAL, as all we have here are jeans!   Also, Jonathan's workplace is hosting a lunch afterwards, if you'd like to come.  They are 8 miles from church, McQ. 1551 Forbes St, just off of Rt. 1, Fredericksburg, VA. 22405.  If you are going to the lunch, please let me know, as they asked for a rough head count.

   Please do NOT send flowers.  If you want to give something, I would suggest that you go do something nice for someone else.  Jonathan would be most pleased with that!  That is what he liked to do.

    And no, we are NOT expecting you, but you ate welcome to attend!  We just wanted to let everyone know.
