All,

I hope we all enjoyed our much needed break in between seasons.  (I know I
did.)

The Fall season is coming up fast!  Week 0 is the "unscored welcome week"
and that will take place next Tuesday 08/26.  Week 1 is the start of the
season and that will take place the following week on 09/02.

Last season, we used the Matchplay format, this season we will be going
back to the "qualifying ladder" format.  This is the same format we used in
the Fall season and we will be tracking our full game scores (not just the
results), and the badges will be back.

While the format this season is mostly unchanged from the Fall season, one
of the changes I want to make is the move towards having the players submit
their own scores.  Pen and paper will continue to be an option for the
players who prefer it, but I want to encourage the users to submit their
own group scores.

One of the ways you can help me achieve this goal is to sign up for this
season before Week 1.

Before week 1, I will send you your login credentials, so you can submit
your own scores during league.  Your login credentials will just be a
simple username and password (no email address is required).
