Hello!  See below for info about this Sundays VUK tournament! 200% WPPRS
basically means if you do well enough at this you are well on your way to
qualifying for DC Open State Champs!


We are just days away from the Mixed Matchplay Max Value Tournament at VÜK
Pinball! There are still spots left if you know anyone else who may want to
join us. Registration link here or you can reply to this email:

helps us speed up registration!)

Here is some additional information you should review before Sunday:

*Entry Fees: $20* (please bring *CASH*)

Cost breakdown:

-$19 to the prize pool

-$1 IFPA fee

-All games are on coin drop, $0.25-$0.50 per play. There is a change
machine on site.

*Schedule (tentative, subject to change)*:

10:00 AM – Check in

10:50 AM – Announcements

11:00 AM – Tournament start (five rounds of qualifying, two games per
round, one modern lcd or dmd and one classic solid state or older)

4:00 PM – Estimated qualifying concluded, short break for tiebreakers if
necessary

4:30 PM – Finals start (group matchplay, 5 games per round)

*Location*:  VÜK Pinball, 5335 Wisconsin Ave NW Suite M5, Washington, DC
20015

*Parking*: Free Parking is available in the neighboring streets nearby.
Also, alternatively recommend taking the Metro to the Friendship Heights
station on the Red Line.

*Food & Drinks*: Please plan to bring food and/or drinks. There are
neighboring restaurants as well.

*Tournament Details*:

   - IFPA rules observed
   - No extra balls will be played, plunge out all extra balls unless
   otherwise noted
   - Play in the order listed in the matchplay software
   - Five rounds of qualifying, two games per round, one modern lcd or dmd
   and one classic solid state or older
   - Scoring for rounds during qualifying is 5/3/2/1 in four player groups,
   5/3/1 in three player groups
   - Top 16 players will advance to finals* (if 32+ players to meet 50%
   rule)
   - Tiebreakers to make finals and for significant seeding will be played
   out on a full game
