If anyone does have it set up that way, don't do that. :) If you fail to start video mode, you are in serious jail. Also, a well played right-orbit tree is worth way more points in the end. So it's kind of medium-game strategy - a couple of video modes will probably beat 75% of competitors as Kevin said, but if your competitor does well on a mode tree, you WILL lose.
