<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto">This is heartbreaking news. As someone who loves working on pins, Scott was my go-to guy when I couldn’t figure out some issue with one of my pins. Had him over several times and he never failed to fix anything I threw at him. Learned a lot from him over the years. I really miss the MD/DC/VA pinball scene and Scott was a major part of what made that scene so special. Rest In Peace, friend. <div><br></div><div>Kevin M.<br><br><div dir="ltr">Sent from my iPhone</div><div dir="ltr"><br><blockquote type="cite">On Sep 5, 2020, at 5:23 PM, Kathy Quinn via FSPA <fspa@fspazone.org> wrote:<br><br></blockquote></div><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr"><div id="yiv6163778646"><div id="yMail_cursorElementTracker_1599340693900">Joe,<div id="yiv6163778646yMail_cursorElementTracker_1599339574389">Thank you for sharing this sad news. </div><div id="yiv6163778646yMail_cursorElementTracker_1599339643846"><br clear="none"></div><div id="yiv6163778646yMail_cursorElementTracker_1599339644099">My most stand out Scott story is him telling me, while very pregnant, that I needed to exercise more and lose some weight and Dan having to save Scott from the hormone induce pregnancy rage. Those of you who know me, know my pretty calm demenor and Scott was one of the few, besides Dan, who got me mad. But to echo others, his love and desire for pinball could not be beat and hormones aside, he was always kind when over at our house or other pin all events. Shortly after our daughter was born, we got a Ghostbusters and Dan had an unboxing party. While holding Tilly in my arms, Scott congratulated me on the "new addition". And I kid you not, he meant the GB. :-)</div><div id="yiv6163778646yMail_cursorElementTracker_1599340205535"><br clear="none"></div><div id="yiv6163778646yMail_cursorElementTracker_1599340205713">Fond memories and pinball won't be the same. He was incredibly intelligent, creative, and generous with his time and talents. I have so many great memories with him... creating projects, playing games, roller coaster madness, so much more. Despite his gruff exterior sometimes, he could be very caring and supportive.<br clear="none"></div><div dir="ltr"><br clear="none"></div><div dir="ltr">For our pinball community, Scott has been involved with the FSPA more than anyone since its beginning. He has done everything from helping run several of our leagues, managing scorekeeping, fixing machines everywhere, and on and on. He could always be counted on to help tune up games for parties and tournaments, and on the day of an event, he would often be the first person there, helping to set things up, and the last one to leave, cleaning everything.
