took up 3D printing during the lockdown) and a modicum of caysh were awarded to the victors.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Joe came out of the raptor pen swinging with a win on Jurassic Park, followed by 4 pointers for all of his head to head matches. After shaking off the round one Curse of the Game Pick, Dave followed suit... saving Xandar, breaking down
communications, and battling royales. Despite Jose finishing second on both 4-player games, everybody pretty much punched him and stole his lunch money on the head to heads, allowing Douglas to squeak ahead of Jose by smacking him with the Hand of the King.
In the end, despite having his point stolen by Jose in the last match on Spider-man, Joe was awarded the honors and benefits befitting an A Division champion.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Sometimes the best strategy with Shawn is to get out of his way and pick up whatever scraps he leaves in his wake. Although he took a modest 3rd on his own first round pick of Grand Prix, that was just warming up for the epic beatdown fest
that followed. Everybody learned that all your points are belong to Shawn. John won that first game, struggled in his first two head to heads, then took Francis to Isengard on The Hobbit before managing to get 2nd place on Jurassic despite having to leave
early to catch his bus. Tim made some headway on his head to heads but ran smack into the side of The Hill on Avengers and couldn't recover. Poor Francis came in second on GP, then just couldn't get it out of park for the rest of the rounds.

<p class="MsoNormal">Talk about your Curse of the Game Pick. 3rd seed Gregg's pick of The Hobbit -- a game that he owns and has served him well this season -- handed him his only loss of the evening. Gregg didn't put up Shawn Hillman numbers for the most part,
but his solid victories clenched the win. Roy, Vincent, and CJ all got one 4 point hth game, but Roy's Hobbit performance against Gregg allowed him to edge out the others. And despite asking me early on what the 4th place prize was, CJ defied his own expectations
and made sure that Vincent knew that *he* was Groot for the hth win. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Top seed Eric made the most of his first season of league with some good game picks... except one. Normally picking a new game against Rob Thomas is a slam dunk, but Rob fed the T-Rex on Jurassic Park and won handily over Eric (this is
Nedry's doing). Ron started with a solid win on Eight Ball Deluxe, but couldn't recover his momentum. On the head to head matches, Rob and Mike were trading blows. It was almost anybody's game when they finished up on Grand Prix, but Rob took second and edged
out the others to wear the mantle of D Division champ.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">There's something to be said for knowing your strengths, and Dan demonstrated that by selecting EMs for all of his game picks. He had a mildly disappointing second place finish for their opener on Walking Dead, but when you win all your
other rounds there's not much question about the outcome. Steve and Zach were snapping at Dan's heels -- all the more impressive for the latter considering Stephanie spelled his name Zac on the score sheets. John was having a tough night, and couldn't seem
to get his flippers under him. The closer on Argosy was poised for a possible upset, but Dan dropped the bomb with aplomb to win it all.<o:p></o:p></p>
