Ron Moyer won by a landslide. Ethan after many rounds of tough rolls managed to score a card. Game 2: Formula De On to the main event - Formula De! With 8 cars on the grid this turned out to be just a fantastic good time. Players: Steve J, Emmett J, Steve P, Rich, Wulf, Ron, Kevin, Ethan Race 1: Zandvoort #2, Nederlands The first race saw our only elimination, with Emmett crashing in only the first few corners. After that everyone gave a little more respect to the risk of crashing and tried to avoid contact. 1st: Steve P 2nd: Rich 3rd: Wulf Race 2: SPA-Francorchamps, Belgium No eliminations this time around, and a really close race for multiple positions right at the end. 1st: Rich 2nd: Steve P 3rd: Steve J After that we broke for some dinner, and Rich, Steve J, and Emmett played Fluxx while we ate. Rich won Last we played Mercs: Recon Twice players: Steve P, Steve and Emmet J, Rich, and Jake the first game, on the second turn we ran into a feisty pair of Security Force 2's who shot up the hallway so much that we could not pass to complete the objective, so we lost rather quickly. After quickly resetting the same mission and adding an alternate route to avoid a similar situation, we got to the objective. The breach and clear was dicey at best, but thanks to a very clutch last roll by Jake, we survived by the skin of our teeth. On the way to the extraction point our spy (Rich) got caught out in the hallway by a pair of SecFor 4's, who lit him up and killed him. However, the mission objective stated that only surviving mercs had to reach the extraction point, so the remaining team members stepped over Rich's dead body and successfully escaped - a win for the team! Thanks so much to all who made it out - what a great time! -Steve Peck -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... He had too much speed going into the final 2 stop turn and not enough gear and tires left to slow down enough to prevent a crash, so he just sped up instead!
