[FSPA] FSPA: CarPool Results for 10/09/2018 (Meet #4)

Joe and I played it and we both thought the game was shaky. My thought was that it had been moved for the FPO and just needs levelers adjusted. The tilt warning(sound) seems to be hard to hear but if your paying attention you will see it and hear it. I noticed it when Joe was playing but didnt hear it when I played it. Ed

I didn't hear about anyone complaining about unexplained tilts on AFM.  There were 3 groups that played AFM after we did.  Scott's explanation, while terse and slightly unhelpful, is completely accurate.  If you are playing a game and detect a problem like tilt-throughs or "I really didn't tilt but it tilted" type things stop playing and come find me.  If he found something amiss after you guys played I should have been clued in so that I could make a ruling.
Next time I'll avoid slam tilting the game.  Next time you find a game anomaly please let me know so we can get back to having fun and playing competitively. :)
Oh, in other news, did anybody see my iPad mini laying around?  It has an Amazon Web Services sticker on the cover. I used it during game picks then I fear I may have left it at Carpool.  Planning on stopping by tonight to check.

What I don’t understand is, when “Bukkake” Bob slam tilts the crap out of AFM and then our games afterwards were affected with multiple unexplainable tilts, why the game wasn’t DQ’d or at least we get a chance for a replay.  After we complained about it, Scott goes into the game and sees the tilt bobber is jacked up, fixes it, and then goes ahead and plays HIS game with no tilts!  Seems like if someone has access to open the game they have a GREAT advantage to fix a problem and not have to deal with it while the rest of us get screwed.  And then we get the “tough luck” speech, as in “you should have said something during your play and stopped playing immediately”.  Well how are we supposed to know to do that?  We complained right after and that should be good enough.  Isn’t the fair thing to do, once a tilt bobber issue is discovered and fixed, that we should at least be given the choice as a group to replay our game?  Are we so blinded that we are losing perspective here, in that we are here to have fun and play competitively, and when both get screwed up the letter of the rules prohibit us from fixing an obvious oversight?  Common sense should trump the rules every time.

Funny how “Tilt Warning” sort of rhymes with "Tilt Whining”.We get plenty of both in our world.

AFM's tilt at Carpool is *weird*.  i never get just one warning.  it's either nothing, or danger-danger-tilt.
