[FSPA] early stern sketchy prop rod solution?

Hey guys,

I have a stern nine ball and when the playfield is on the prop rod it seems
to really want to tilt to the opposite side and fall down. pretty sketchy.

i've seen the same issue on a stern dracula, so I'm guessing this is fairly
common on early sterns

has anyone come up with a good solution to make these games prop up more
safely? I don't want to reinvent the wheel if this is a solved problem.
