[FSPA] early stern sketchy prop rod solution?

It’s just as bad with early Ballys too. If I’m using the prop rod, I try to
keep a free hand on the playfield as much as possible. If I’m really doing
serious work, I just pull the playfield all the way up and rest it on the
backbox.
