[FSPA] Replay check list

I got burned last year in not waiting long enough for the prior player’s tilt to settle. Official PAPA rules state in part (in Section III. Player Conduct - Paragraph 4. Intentional Delays) the following three things:

· No player may delay their game for more than 60 seconds, except (not relevant but waiting for a tilt to settle is not indicated here)….

· No player may wait for more than 60 seconds from the end of the previous player’s turn to begin their turn.

· A player is permitted to wait a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the Tournament Director, for a tilt mechanism to settle.
This third item seems incongruous with the prior two. Assuming the incongruity does not invalidate it, does anyone know how long that usually would be deemed to be? Can I way for 2 minutes?

Another point of note:

Tilts are tight. Really tight. Lots of EMs have a "feature" where a tilt ends the game. I believe they are all marked but assume every single player EM is set up that way (2001 anyone?).
Speaking of tilts, tilt-throughs are no joke and they are a DQ. You might get a break if you're playing a Stern solid state but don't count on it. Last year the player in front of me tilted every ball on a solid state which meant that I also tilted every ball. Take a minute after they tilt and wait, don't just plunge.

Tilt happens. :)

Another Pinburgh tip: every point is important. Especially if you're having a crappy game, just try to do enough to beat one player, and go from there. It's straight 3-2-1-0 scoring, no FSPA-style bonus points to be stolen.
