[FSPA] 2020 Season Carpool and MSB

Morning Everyone!  We have finally settled on a simple structure to allow
for "some form" of competitive play this fall.  We wanted a system that was
simple to run, would allow for flexibility to cancel or move weeks and
would allow for people to attend when able.

Format:

The season will run from 10/6-11/10 with 8 individual events and one finals
event.    Regular events will take place Tuesdays at Carpool and Saturdays
at MSB.  Points will be awarded for each individual event based on the
number of players that attend the event.  At the end of the season the top
10 players with the most points will be invited to attend a playoff event.
  Brackelope will be used for the individual events with a 3X Balanced
Swiss format used(*1), the finals format will be officially published after
week 6 and will likely be a PAPA format.

Points:

To assure some balance in scoring the events with an unknown number of
participants a minimum floor of points for winners and losers will be
established.  Winners will score *no less than 10 points and losers will
score no less than 4 points*.  Also, if a winning player has remaining
unused strikes those will count for bonus points(e.g. 10 players, 10 points
to the winner + 2 points for unspent strikes or 12 points total).    A
weekly summary of the individual events and aggregate leader board will be
published after each event.

Cost:  $6 per player per event.  $1 per player per event will go toward the
finals prize pool and the remainder will be paid out at the conclusion of
each event.

COVID Safety:   Both Carpool and Mustang Sally require a mask to be worn
and the expected safety measures will be in place.   Common sense should be
used by players (wear a mask, do not show up if you have been sick, in
contact with someone that was sick etc).   If someone is found to not
follow protocols they will be removed from the location and blocked from
further participation.

Sponsorship and Streaming:    It is my intention to arrange
streaming(TWITCH) for the finals event.  Stern continues to sponsor us with
prizes as well so we should have some nice prizes in addition to the $$.
