I personally set a goal to not have another party at my house until my basement was “done”. The flood I had changed things a bit. Now that I’m “retired”, I am resuming the work on my basement, but also resuming work and fixing up my games again. I also haven’t participated in league in quite some time. Once I have 15 or 16 of the games fully functional again I may be ready for a party, but that is still a few months away. As to the basement being finished, well, once my truck is back and I can get get rid of more of the junk that’s going to help I have a lot of stuff that needs to be disposed of.
I had been playing a lot more disc golf than pinball but with forced retirement, I now have a lot more spare time on my hand so pinball may be re-entering my life.

With the growth in size of the leagues it no longer became feasible to do at private homes, so we’d moved to commercial league locations. However, we’ve noticed that a lot of folks don’t take advantage of it now. Is it time to lose the party, modify it or continue “as is”?

A lot of the changes were driven by IFPA rules to allow our leagues to stay compliant so that players could continue to get WPPR player ranking points. Do you think the new format was better for you or worse? Keep the new format, modify it or consider going back to the old format?
